Personal Summary
I never set out to disrupt an industry. I just followed a sound, a frequency that kept pulling me forward.
When I was young, I didn’t think I could make an impact that would ripple across the music world. But somehow, I did.
Before “streaming,” “social,” or “viral” were even part of the conversation, I was helping build the digital heartbeat of the music industry.
I worked on Live365, the first internet radio platform, when music online was still a wild experiment. GarageBand.com, the first real indie music community, giving unsigned artists a home before “creator economy” had a name. iLike, the first social music network, where I built Facebook’s first-ever music API during its open-developer era. ZoozMobile, the first gesture-based music sequencer, turning touch into rhythm. And one unforgettable night, through a partnership between Keith Urban and Nokia, we brought the crowd into the show, fans capturing and uploading photos and videos in real time, creating the first live social concert feed in history.
At the time, none of it felt revolutionary. It felt like curiosity. Like staying up all night chasing an idea that felt impossible, until it wasn’t.
Looking back, I realize that every “first” I helped bring to life wasn’t just about technology, it was about connection. Between sound and soul. Between artist and fan. Between vision and reality.
That’s what drives me still. The pursuit of what’s next, and the belief that the most extraordinary things you’ll ever do are the ones you didn’t think you could.
